The Trauma Recovery Team
The majority of the Trauma Recovery team are qualified therapists experienced in supporting individuals of all ages who have had traumatic experiences. They span the UK, working online and in person.
We also have our admin who support our therapists.
Anna - Therapy Lead
Anna leads TRCIC therapy team, working closely with our Senior Therapists and our Clinical Lead.
Anna also manages our trauma/addiction project supporting her team to provide trauma-focused therapy to individuals in active addiction.
Anna is a Gestalt trained therapist and has completed additional training around addiction and trauma.
Anna is based in Essex and see's clients in person in Southend and online.
When she is not working she is at the beach with her dog.
Neelam - Senior Therapist
Neelam leads TRCIC long-term teams - Crystal Clear and the Helix team offering long-term open-ended trauma-focused therapy.
Neelam has a wealth of experience in the field of Domestic Abuse, she managed Herts Domestic Abuse Helpline before joining TRCIC in 2021.
Neelam is based in Hertfordshire and sees clients online and in person.
When Neelam is not working she reads, swims and can be found supporting her beloved LFC.
Dominique - Senior Therapist
Dominique leads TRCIC short term funded team covering Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.
She is an experienced therapist and member of the NCPS.
Prior to joining the TRCIC team Dominique worked with women, children and young people who had experienced multiple disadvantages and trauma.
Dominique works online only.
Leola - Senior Therapist
Leola leads TRCIC Children and Young People therapy team covering Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgshire and Bedfordshire.
Leola's initial training was Person Centred, she utilises this to work in a client centred way using creative trauma focused methods in both online and in person therapy sessions.
Ella works on our Helix team offering long term trauma focused therapy to children, young people and adults who have experienced sexual trauma.
Ella's has worked in mental health and emotional wellbeing throughout her adult life with experience of working in a psychiatric hospital, supporting women leaving the prison service and families within the community.
Ella is a qualified therapist who works creatively with clients.
Lisa is part of TRCIC trauma and addiction team. She works mostly in person offering short term trauma focused therapy to adults who are also experiencing addiction.
Lisa joined TRCIC in 2023 following 10 years in the NHS where she worked with familes, young people. She has worked as as a university lecturer and been involved in research alongside her clinical work.
Away from work Lisa can be found hiking out in nature or reading (research and to switch off as well).
Khadeeja works on our Helix team offering long-term trauma-focused therapy to adults aged 18 and over.
Khadeeha is a qualified therapist and joined TRCIC in 2023 after working within a women's centre.
When she is not working Khadeeja can be found with her head in a book - she is a self-confessed book worm with her favourite genre being fantasy.
Karen works online offering short-term trauma-focused therapy to adults who have experienced sexual trauma.
Karen is integratively trained.
Prior to joining TRCIC Karen worked as an accuracy pharmacy technician for over 25 years.
Away from work, Karen can be found with her dog and family preferably at the beach.
Roz is part of the TRCIC Children and Young People's team. She works with individuals up to the age of 24 years offering short-term trauma-focused therapy both in person and online.
Roz works creatively from a trauma-informed perspective using a variety of of tools to support children and young people to feel safer and more stable following a traumatic experience.
Away from work Roz's favourite place is by the sea where she enjoys collecting sea glass and taking photos.
Danielle works as part of TRCIC short-term trauma-focused therapy team covering Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. She offers both in-person and online sessions.
Prior to joining TRCIC Danielle worked as a support worker in an addiction team and also has experience offering support to those who have experienced domestic abuse.
Away from work, Danielle enjoys wold swimming and connecting with nature.
Becci is TRCIC Operations Assistant. Her role is to support the Directors and the team to ensure that TRCIC runs smoothly. Becci also manages TRCIC social media and produces our company newsletter.
Away from work Becci loves to create and bake. She hosts a SEN parent support group and spends time with her new puppy (who makes an appearance on TRCIC social media along with our other animals)
Vita is TRCIC HR Administrator. She has over 15 years experience in both HR and recruitment and uses this to ensure that both the TRCIC team are well looked after and that our policies and procedures are up to date and support the team to work within best practice guidance.
Vita is a trained MHFA and is dedicated to supporting the teams mental health.
Away fro work Vita enjoys cooking and baking and spending time with family and friends.
Dani is TRCIC Clinical Administrator. She works on the funded team managing all new referrals to TRCIC. She makes contact with potential clients seeking funded therapy to support them to book their initial appointments and liaises with external agencies to support them to make referrals to the team.
Prior to joining TRCIC Dani worked as an ISVA for many years supporting individuals who had experience sexual violence.
Away from work Dani
Charlie joined TRCIC in 2023 as our first summer intern, he joined the team permanently in September 2023 as our Junior Administrator. Charlie's role is to support the admin team.
Outside of work, Charlie is studying level 2 hairdressing with a view to providing services to those who may not be able to access it in a traditional way.
