Volunteer Vacancies
Our volunteers are integral to the development of Trauma Recovery CIC. The team is made up of people who want to give back to support others, many have benefitted from our service and are now at a point in their own recovery where supporting others, supports them.
Although personal, direct lived experience is not a pre-requisite for all volunteer roles, our Butterflies Ambassadors all have this experience and attend our groups.
Please also note that to be considered for our student counsellor placements, you must have relevant lived experience and be in a place where you can use this to enhance your work with others.
Examples of volunteer roles

Butterflies Ambassador (this role covers many possibilities such as acting as a 'buddy' to support others to attend groups, being a voice of the community to support service development, handing out flyers and sharing information about the community and many others).
