Meet the team

Rebecca Savill

Rebecca is a qualified Person-Centred Counsellor and a Registered Member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP).


In addition to working as a counsellor for ‘Trauma Recovery CIC’ with a passion for specialising in trauma with young people and adults in therapy; Rebecca is also an internal moderator at ‘The Northamptonshire Centre for Counselling Studies’ (NCCS). In addition, she also works as a Group Lead/Clinical Assessor with ‘Stand-By-Me’ which is a child bereavement charity, based in Hertfordshire.


In the past, Rebecca has worked as a Counsellor with Place2Be and with Herts Women’s Centre as a volunteer. She is also currently studying her Level 5 in Psychotherapeutic Counselling which offers an Integrative approach to therapy.

Brigid Errington

After completing a five year training course, Brigid gained her Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling in 2015, following on from that in 2017 she became an Accredited Member of BACP. Brigid has been working with Rebecca Fox for over two years following placements at PlacetoBe, Mind, Rephael House and St Albans Bereavement Network. During this time she completed additional training with Place2Be in working with children and young people.


Since qualifying, Brigid has developed her interest in working with teenagers and young people with a diploma at IATE. Whilst working on this course at Rephael House, Brigid began working with trauma victims and has continued to attend additional training in this area.


In 2019, Brigid completed an embodied therapy training course, most of which focused on working with the body and integrating her own mindfulness practise. She works in a collaborative way, with a focus on understanding the individual person and their circumstances.

Jane MacLaren

Jane is an integrative psychotherapist and registered member of the BACP. She is trained and registered as a certified online and telephone counsellor. Jane’s background and experience is working with adults and young people who have a wide range of issues.


Her current speciality and focus is working with recent and past trauma cases including sexual, domestic and relational trauma. She is very much enjoying her role at Trauma Recovery CIC and is extremely passionate about providing a holistic, therapeutic response that allows empowerment and personal growth with her clients.
